yep, still here.

Sigh.  What a whirlwind of a few months.

School started, things got insane, and here I am.

Not a whole lot of craftiness going on, but lots of UFOs.  I was able to finish up some blocks for our Baltimore MQG Bee.

These blocks were made using this pattern.  I'm pretty happy with them, though I don't think this is one I would make a whole quilt out of.

I also got my prototype block done for the 4x5 Modern Quilt Bee.



This one is "Missing Your Kiss" from the book Modern Blocks.  LOVE this book.  I picked it up from my LQS and I've spent hours pouring through marking pages for future projects!

I'm super happy with the way this block turned out.  I could see myself doing a whole quilt out of these wonky Xs.  So fun!

I have one more bee I'm working on right now (that's right, 3 at a time...yikes).  Heading back to my book to pick another block for that one!
